I'm looking for a used 4l60E for my 97 Z28.
I'm looking for one not to far from West Palm Beach Florida.

I took my transmission apart tonight and it's not worth rebuilding.

Its for an 01 z. So I dont know if the would be an issue as you are a 97 correct? But it was just rebuilt about 2,000 miles ago. Has a 2800 hughes converter. Itwas upgraded a little bit. I didnt take it to a dealer or anything, I have a good buddy of mine that does them and he upgraded it a bit.(good for 450hp) It runs perfect. I will include the converter unless you already have one. I will give it to you for $1700obo. I know it seems pricey but I believe you get them completely stock from a dealer for about $2,000. Plus this one is upgraded but not to an extreme amount. Price is very negotiable. P.M. me back if you are interested. Later man.
