looking to pick up some wheel adapters or spacers
whatever that can make z06 wheels on a 3rd gen

 

you can buy spacers that go in between the wheel and rotor.. there are also spacers that you can bolt on to your existing wheel studs and then bolt your wheels to the spacer with the studs that come on the spacer. On my mustang I have '05 mustang wheels and i have a 1/4" spacer on the front and back. the spacer that is between the rotor and wheel... I changed all the wheel studs to 3" wheel studs aswell to make sure I had enough threads for my lugs to hold. I would look into the backspacing of the wheels that you want to put on your 3rd gen and then look up the original backspacing. If possible you want to get as close to the original backspacing as possible.
