I need a newer set of wiper arms for my 1996 the wipers don't hit half the windshield even with new blades. I would also be interested in the interior panels inside the truck if they have the speaker mounts in them

 

I can sell you the wiper arms off my 96 (without the blades) but my guess is your problem is that the blades you have suck. Get some Tryco's.

I have the rear panels from a 96 Z28 too. Passenger side is pending, but the driver side has the Bose speaker grill in it. It's charcoal. $30 + shipping.

 

I have tried new blades. they still left a gap and it slung them off eventually. the "96 and the "98 and up arms are different. the j-hook bends the opposite way i think. Because mine you just force the blade in and the later ones actually clip in.

 

Hmm, well 93-97 all use the same part #, but if you still want them I'll sell both wiper arms (no blades, unless you want the cheap ones I have lying around) for $25 shipped.

I had the same problem with my wipers, you don't probably need new arms. I had to lube the arms at the hinge with WD40 and bend the wipers back and forth at the hinge to clean the corrosion out of the hinge. After they loosened up they worked like new.
