Wanted - LS1 front caliper brackets

I need a set of front caliper brackets from a 98-02 LS1. Let me know if you've got them and how much you want. I don't really need the calipers, but would consider them for spares if they are cheap.

I have whole front spindles?

IIRC the caliper brackets are only ~$20 at an auto parts store.

EDIT: They only seam to sell the rears.

I do have an extra right front bracket I could do for $25 shipped.

I just need to find one other

Cant even get these from the dealer anymore. All the calipers you can get are reman, and they dont even have the brackets!

How did you ruin both of yours anyway?

If I'm lucky, there's a C5 front brake conversion in my future (next 3 months or so, not sure exactly when). If I understand how TrackBrackets work correctly, I believe I will have a pair of LS1 caliper brackets available.

I'll take them when they come available. After I do my own conversion, my buddy has a Buick that'll need these brackets as well.

I'm using them for a brake upgrade on my GTP. 97-03 w-bodies used 10.9" rotors and single piston iron calipers. 04+ w-bodies use 12" rotors but the same crappy single piston calipers (with a different bracket). The LS1 brakes bolt right up to the 97-03 spindles... just use the 04+ 12" rotors and you're set. A couple hours and WAY better brakes.

A Buick? Wait, I have a Buick...

Hmmm, I hadn't thought of that. If my LS1 brakes happen to work on my GN, I'm keeping them.

Then could I interest you in a caliper and bracket set for $80 shipped?

Does this mean LS1 brakes will bolt onto my 04?

Yes, for $80 shipped I'm interested. Though as far as I know they only bolt up to the 97-03 cars - but they *might* bolt up on the 04's as well. I'll look it up after a few morning meetings.

I just did a quick search and it looks like they are bolt on.

I will be pulling the calipers off tonight, but due to me going to work a race at CMP this weekend I likely wont get them to UPS until Monday if that ok.

They bolt up on your 04 and you don't want to do the upgrade on your own car?
