Re: Wanted: Gauge Cluster Odometer For Firebird!!
I have got the 115 MPH dash out of my 94 Formula. I believe they are the same set up as a 95 V-6. Everything works and looks great on it. It has around 73,000 showing on the dash (gage cluster whatever). I will sell it to you for $75 + shipping.
Re: Wanted: Gauge Cluster Odometer For Firebird!!
Strader I sent you an email. Does anyone know if the Firehawk 115MPH is compatible with the V6. Also is the 160MPH gauge compatible? Any info appreciated. Thanks.
Re: Wanted: Gauge Cluster Odometer For Firebird!!
from what i understand baack when i had a v6 and wanted to put a 150 mph spedo in i was told everything would work but the rpm would be off and it would olny show .75 of my actual rpm

Re: Wanted: Gauge Cluster Odometer For Firebird!!
I have one out of a 93 Formula with a wopping 20068 miles. Not 100% sure that is the original mileage. I bought the car wrecked for the powertrain quite a few years ago and the cluster has been sitting around since. I just looked at it and it does appear to have been reconditioned by a factory authorized repair facility before I got the car. I've scrapped almost all the parts from that car since I've moved two times across the country but this is one that is still laying around. I've got some others from a '96 but very limited.
You will need to find out if a 93 Formula cluster will work in a 95 V6 car. I don't know. Also, the clear lense will have to be swapped out with yours, mine is scratched up quite a bit. Again, I'm not sure if the 93 will fit other years, that was somewhat of an odd ball year for the car.
E-mail at Steveesp52@comcast.net if interested.

I found another thread indicating that some of the model years may not work with others. Again, makes sense since a lot of the 93 parts will not work on either of my 95 or 97 as direct bolt on replacements. I'm thinking you probably should not buy my 93 cluster. Let me know anyway. Thanks.

Re: Wanted: Gauge Cluster Odometer For Firebird!!
I am not really sure why you care about the mileage on the cluster. You need to remove your mileage counter from the back of the cluster to transfer anyways so you have an accurate reading. Rolling back the mileage is against the law.
Re: Wanted: Gauge Cluster Odometer For Firebird!!
hey camaroguy the cluster has to be replaced because my milage thing is not moving accurately anymore. I'm aware of the law thanks, my car has 73,000 so if anyhing i'll be changing it to one with up to 100,000 as the ad states.

I wasn't trying to jump on you or anything, its just alot of people on here try to play the mileage reset game. That really stinks as far as your situation goes. Goodluck!
