Re: Wanted 93 - 97 Z28 !

Mike,
I just e-mailed you back today. (Monday night)

gritter,
I would really like to have another Z28, because I used to have a 95 Z28 and I sold it a while back. I just didn't realize then that it would be one of those things that I kick myself in the butt every day for. But, shoot me an e-mail of what all you have in that car, and who knows, maybe a T/A will be my next car ??

Re: Wanted 93 - 97 Z28 !

To bad you don't want a 6 speed, I know a guy selling his supercharged 93-96 Z, cowl hood, 4.10's, wheels, exhaust, ect. I know when the belt is not slipping he puts about 4 cars on LS1's when he had 3.42's.

He is here in Indy also.

Re: Wanted 93 - 97 Z28 !

I could be interested in selling mine. I've been needing to look at getting something four door anyway with the kid. Here are the specs:

Stock/Appearance:
95Z A4 hardtop with 94k miles
Red exterior/Charcoal cloth interior (tear on driver seat, patched to cover tear)
Whiteface Guages
17x9 ZR1 style genuine GM wheels
275/45/50 tires w/40% tread
Functional Suncoast Creations Z style hood
Bose CD
new GM OPTI and timing chain (10-15k miles ago)
tinted windows
Firebird T-handle shifter w/leather shift boot
pwr Windows, locks, driver seat (all in working order)
Cruise Control
Alarm

Performance:
GM Hotcam kit (cam, 1.6 RR, springs, etc)
ported stock heads
Over Valve Cover wires
EGR! & AIR! (I have stock equipment if needed)
SLP 1 3/4" headers
Ported stock 52mm throttle body
functional ram air with hood
Flowmaster catback with Trans Am dual tips
3.42 geared rear end
PCMforless programming with cable for tuning/scanning
Rebuilt transmission with 2year/24k mile warranty (rebuilt 1 month ago)
1LE shocks/springs/front swaybar (100k miles)

The car is in excellent working condition and has been used as a daily driver by me for the past 4 yrs. The car starts right up, does not smoke or use any oil, and does not overheat in the Texas summer heat with the AC blowing in stop/go traffic. The cam/heads/OPTI/timing chain were done about 10-15k miles ago.
The transmission was rebuilt about 1000 miles ago
There is nothing wrong mechanically or visually with this car. Here is a website with some pics of my car:

The only area of concern is the top is beginning to peel the clear coat and the driver seat tear. I was planning on doing a t-top conversion and leather seats so... If you are interested, please let me know. Thanks,

Kyle, I see that you are looking for a family car so, that kind of shoots trading out the window. Anyway, if I can't work out a trade with someone, I may get ahold of you when I get the car sold.

dodgesportram, I sent you an e-mail.

No problem. I have just been toying with the idea of maybe selling it because of my 5 year old son. My wife started a new job and I am now delegated to daily drop off/pick up of him from school. When it was just me in the car, not so bad, but with him, I reaaly think I need a 4 dr. If you sell yours and are interested, let me know.
