Want 91/92 TA Conv, Have 25th TA Conv
Title says it all.
I'm Looking for a 91/92 Trans-Am Convertible. Red, black, black. 5-speed a plus. Will consider others that are close but the amount I will spend goes down. All cars close to the above please email me.
I have a 1994 25th Anniversary Trans-Am convertible that I'm trying to sell to buy the above 91/92 TA. 69,000 miles, awesome condition, all stock, 1 of 250 made. Looking for $12,000 obo or trade for a Trans-Am above + cash.
Let me know.

hmm... Yellow was my first choice (against my wife's pleading), but it was so rare in 91/92 I didn't even ask for it. Please do get me a number!
FWIW, there were no GTA convertibles, should just be a trans-am, but you never know who would put emblems on.
Thanks!
PS, I'm forwarding this to your email in case you don't read the boards too much.

Damn.. Do you just sit around the parts wanted board?
I do like the yellow TA. Few issues though.
1) It's gray interior. Who would order a yellow car with black accents and a gray interior.
2) It's originally a NY car and stayed there a while, not sure about rust.
3) It's a 350, 'it says 5.7 under the hood somewhere'. We all know it's a 305..
4) The owner (its on consignment still) says $6900 or he'll let it sit another year.
And the biggie:
5) there's a 20,000 mile problem with the odometer. Not sure how/why it happened, but in 2/97 it had 74000, 10/97 it had 54000. Looks like normal rollback. But in only 5 months at 3/98 it had 72000 miles again. Is it really possible for someone to drive 18000 miles in 5 months during an Indiana winter??
I haven't called him back after researching it yet. I'll probably call him tomorrow and see if he can find out about the milage and if the guys still stuck at $6900 after he learns about the milage. The higher milage and interior doesn't bother me as the car is going to be heavily modified anyway. The 305 and milage should help lower the price a bit too. My main concern is why the milage was changed..
Didn't happen to notice if it was repainted or not did you? Luckily Pontiac confirmed it was an original yellow car.
Thanks,
Kevin D.

The car looks like it has never been painted and sorry about the interior color i could have sworn it was black.. Sounds like the milage thing might be to your advantage....
