I am in need of a 4l60e for a 95 fbody It has to be able to handle 700hp I am also thinking about going with a 6 speed but I would need the whole swap kit. Thanks

 

im not too sure you want to go with a 6 spd with 700 hp....those trannys arent too good with that much power...youll lose it really fast!!!the tranny that is...your best bet is to go with a 4l60e or do a th350 conversion if your going to strip it..but if you want it for just strictly street go with the 4l60e for that extra gear.

 

Thanks for the info. I have a 350TH right now and its killing me driving it around. Plus I dont like the way it shifts I was getting better times with the 4l60e.

That information concerning the T56 is not entirely accurate. While a stock one cannot handle that power, there are plenty of parts available to make a T56 able to handle upwards to 900 hp.
