new or used, go with the B&M kit. the husrt kit doesnt come with the proper piece to relocate the tranny mount.

goodl luck.

you can use the stock x member with the B&M. it comes with a huge 3/8" thick plate to move the tranny mount back to the stock location. the hurst does not come with this piece. less fabrication is required with the B&M.

the hurst includes a bracket for the throttle and some vacuum line, but its not worth the sacrifice, IMO i run a manual valve body, so those items were useless to me.

let me know if i can help.....

Thanks for the help!!! I'll also be using a manual valve body so I wont need the vacuum line or the throttle piece! And the B&M stuff is cheaper Did you use a short or long tail shaft TH350?
Thanks,
Adam

dont know if it matters, but i used a short tail without a problem. you will need a longer driveshaft.

i run a 10" PTC converter. im all motor right now, but will be spraying it by the end of the year.

7.50 1/8 mile at 90mph motor. bout an 11.4 in the 1/4. 3600# raceweight.
