i'm looking for a T56 manual transmission for a 1996 z28 camaro....any information would be great.

 

Are you converting from an automatic, or replacing an existing T56?

If converting, you'll need a bunch of extra stuff. Shifter, clutch w/ pedal, console, etc.

I believe that any T56 from any V8-powered '94-'97 Camaro or Firebird/Trans Am/Formula will work.

yea you will need clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, shifter, slave/master, pedals, bellhousing, and tranny...your auto d/s will work fine with it..

 

any idea of cost for it all? im hoping to find some of the parts at junk yards...hopefully most..if anyone has done this how much did you end up paying all together..i heard that its also not super hard to cpnvert
