Smile Performance LT1 camshaft,Performance Engine all Internal parts needed

I'm looking for a performance camshaft, and engine internals... I don't have anything at the moment except heads and springs/retainers.. Pretty much I'm looking for pretty much everything at the moment. If used I prefer not a whole lot use on the items, but we'll see I'm on a budget..

Planning on a 355, but i may go with a stroker if the price is right..

so if anyone has any parts laying around post em up !

thanks
Paul

Magnum- Too bad.. Your cam is too big for my springs.. I can take .550 lift max on my iron heads. And I have 1.6 rr already. I have the Heads,Springs,Retainers, roller rockers,Block, stock crank, and all stock internals... Which I plan on replacing. It will be a rebuilt 355, that won't be too radical, more of a street motor then anything. But That gives you an idea what I'm looking for.

Realquick- That cam is just a tad too large... I have a spec stage 3 clutch so I don't need a clutch. I could use a TB but i assume its for a 94+ car since you are also listing a MAF. I have a 93 which is a speed density car.. no MAF... and also assume the stock Intake and parts are from your 95.. I do need injectors but something more liek the svo/bosch 30#'s.

94-lt1 I have 1.6 rr's , but if for somereason I get a larger cam and have to run a 1.5rr, I will let you know.

Thanks for the help...

Really... Well I have crane cam springs/retainers, kit says good to max of .550 lift. These are different springs then the aluminum head style. I figured a little higher might make it by with no problems, but the machine shop that is working on my heads said try not to go over, try to be a little under just to be save.. Last thing I need is a spring breaking... Anyways how did you like that cam on a 114? I haven't seen one in a car with that lsa, only 112 or lower...

I was using the old Racenet valvetrain package that used GM springs rated for .550 lift. With my home ported heads and SLP shorty headers I peaked out power at 5900rpm. I then added LLoyd Elliott Ported heads (with springs good for .600" lift), Jet Hot LT's and my peak power only shifted to 6000rpm. I'd say they worked fine.

As far as the cam, I liked it. It will work good if you decide to spray or throw a blower on it (114LSA).With tuning it has no cam surge (except maybe 1000-1200rpm). I liked it alot. I am building a blown 383, so aI got a new cam.

I have a Comp Cams XE 218/230 114LSA Cam with low miles, original box, and birth certificate. Would work better with a power adder over N/A, but that's your call. I'm thinking $175 shipped. Let me know how that sounds.

Re: Performance LT1 camshaft,Performance Engine all Internal parts needed

Thanks for all the help guys, greatly appreciated.. I'm pending sale of a cam right now, that fits my needs.. But if it does not go as planned, then I will definintely be contacting a few of you.. also I just picked up a set of eagle h-beam forged 5.7" rods so I now am looking for a ZZ4 or equivalent Forged crank .. And possibly pistons.. I'm checking on forged ones tomrorow morning. Still looking for injectors.. would like to find a 93 fuel rail (non crossover tube) Thanks!
