Hey all, i'm new to the board and have a 00 z28, automatic. I'm looking for a few things for it that while i might not be able to get everything at once, i'd like to start somewhere. So, here's the list

1. shorty style headers, for the stock cats

2. electric cutout covers for flowtech 2 1/2 cutouts

3. autometer tach, (with shift light) and wiring for it

Thats the begininng of the list that i need, and if there's anything else ya have that you want to get rid of, lemme know. I might need it myself.

i have a clear mti clear lid-it has an oem ss emblem on it, but it could be removed and put a z28 emblem on-let me know

 

you might want to check on the ls1 forum to see if you really could use shorties
i thought that 00-02 they had tubular exhaust manifolds that were basically as good as shorties

that said, i've got a flowmaster muffler/polished tips

 

I just recently purchased an SLP airlid, and have modified my y pipe (cut out the flat bend and put a solid 2 1/4 inch pipe back to the y with (2) 2 1/2 inch flowtech cutouts and a 3 inch pipe all the way back to the axle where it dumps straight down. And you say that the stockers that are on the 00 z's are pretty much the same as shorty's? any more information on that part? or would i be best to get some long tubes and put them on? what about the emissions and o2 sensor bull**** that's on it?
