Just a little FYI about the pedal assembly, they are less than $70 new from the dealer.

Thanks for the info but I went to the dealer and they wanted $320 for the assembly, but you also have to remember I am in Okinawa, Japan. My trans mount went out about 3 months ago and I went to the dealer to get a oem one until my poly one got here and they wanted $150 for the sh***y rubber one!

Oh, didn't notice the location. Do they have really high taxes there, or is it bexause it is special order?

No its because a camaro/corvette here is like driving a Benz in the states. They consider it an exotic sports car so they feel they can jack the price up on parts, I own 1 of about 7 Z28(GEN III) and now that I have my T56 I will have they only 6 speed, Japanese have to get a special license to drive a stick so all GM cars imported here are A4s to appeal to all, there alot of v6 though and that has a lot to do with taxes. The Japanese have to pay road tax ever year and it is based on engine displacement. A 5798cc(5.7l) engine will cost a local abut $1400 a year in tax to drive, but for us military folk it only cost a fraction of that, this year I paid $232.
