Need to buy...one LS1 rear caliper
Need to buy...one LS1 rear caliper
I need the right rear caliper off a '98+ car. I know I could get a new one for $60ish from GM, but I'm trying to save money if possible. Anyone have a working caliper laying around?
Re: Need to buy...one LS1 rear caliper
Problem is... Murray's wants $40 plus a $35 core charge, but they have to order it in and it won't be in for 3 days. In order to not pay the core charge up front, I'd have to give them my old caliper when I go to pay and then be without a car for 3 days, and that won't work (I don't have the extra money to throw as a core deposit right lately, even if its only for a few days). And then there's Autozone..they have it in stock, but they want $58 plus core deposit (which I suppose I wouldn't have to pay because I could get it same day). For $60 I could just buy a new one from GMPartsDirect, which I may end up doing, but then there's an additional $10 in shipping.
I figured if someone had a working one laying around, I could get out of paying a core charge and maybe getting the caliper for cheaper anyways
