Lug nut key for 95 Z28

I need a lug nut key to get my wheels off. I don't think I got one when I purchased the car unless it is someplace I haven't looked. Let me know if anyone has one. Thanks

the factory keys are different but with a 12 point socket and a hammer you can get them off then just put regular lug nuts on

I took mine off and replaced them with regular lugs. I used to keep mine in the spare tire area, and wrote the code down in the back of my owners manual in case I ever lost it. If you want to keep them you can probably get a key from your local dealer.

Shouldn't all 95's have the same key? I did go to the dealer and they told me to call some other place since they don't carry them anymore. I figured it would be cheaper to find one on here.

The keys are not the same. At the dealer I used to work at we had about 25 different keys we kept in the tool room and they don't go by model year. Your best bet is to pound a socket onto the lug nut and use an impact gun to remove them. Depending on how tight they are it might take a couple tries to spin them off, but they always have come off for me this way. It gets ugly when guys try using a chissel gun or torches.

take it to discount tire if there is one in the area they charge 10 a piece but at least you don't have mess with the bs it take to get them off or chance of brake the wheel stud and then good luck with that bill .
