looking for low mileage 3.4

thought I might see if anyone close to southern OH has taken out a low mileage 3.4 Mine's about had it. Im in Chillicothe OH, but would travel a little ways for the right deal. I hate to get one out of a junkyard because you never know what you are going to get. Anyhow, if you have something or know of one, let me know.

Re: looking for low mileage 3.4

I have a 3.4 v6 out of a 1994 camaro with a standard tranny. Needs a bearing in the lower end i'm assuming. I could even do the work. It started knocking then seized. This motor ran fine and never leaked a drop then one day it just knocked then seized about 2 miles later.

anyways like 200 bucks would take the motor with all sensors and the transmission and clutch.

I'll pass for now. I'd rather find one that is ready to put in and that runs good rather than have to work on one. thanks.

My daughter wrecker her 95 camaro a couple weeks ago. A little over 100k...maybe 107k. I'm a little far but get good rates on shipping. PM me an offer and where you live and I can check on shipping.

Re: looking for low mileage 3.4

I'm in Livonia, MI and have a 3.4 that I bought off Ebay to install in a 93. I've decide to install an LS1. The previous owner claimed it had 68K on it when I bought it. I put it on an engine stand and pressure washed it. Havent touched it since. I also have the transmission that goes with it a 4L60, I think. I will give you a deal and you are approximately 5 hours away tops. $500 for both?

Camaro_Guru16NY - i cleaned out my PM box.. sorry about that.
greatwhitess - I dont think I want to go to the trouble to make a 3.8 fit. I've heard it is a job.
rat55chev - I'll keep you in mind.
