Re: Looking to buy a lt1 motor

I am thinking about selling my 95 LT1 motor and 96 T56 tranny.
Here is a pic of the motor,

I haven't finished putting it completelyback together but here is what the motor has,
94 Corvette heads (low miles)
CC306 cam (low miles)
Cloyes Double roller timing set (new)
Meziere Electric water Pump (old housing but just rebuilt by meziere)
24# accel injectors (picture shows 30# SVO's)
stock valve covers (I gave those covers in the pic to my brother)
New pan gasket
new head gaskets
new timing cover gasket
Has oil cooler lines and filter adaptor, but no cooler.
1993 6 speed ECM and harness
Will have a new Optispark if I sell it.

The T56 is from a 96.
I have a low miles SPEC Flywheel
New Clutch Kit
stock shifter
Spohn TQ arm and X-memberwith DS loop (this is specific to a 82-92 F-body only)
Pedals and hydraulics.

Asking $1200 for the motor
$1600 for the tranny setup, and $350 for the Spohn parts,

Re: Looking to buy a lt1 motor

Ya, I am pretty firm on the price since there are a lot of new/like new parts on the motor.
I failed to mention that it comes with a set of Comp Pro Magnum 1.52 Roller Rockers and hardened pushrods as well.
I can do $1000 if I give you an old opti that needs to have the rotor replaced.

Re: Looking to buy a lt1 motor

The main reason for selling it is because I don't feel like putting it back together.
The only things not installed are the accessories, rockers, coolant crossover tubes, and some sensors.
I don't have any means to transport the motor outside the area I live in, so it would have to be picked up or shipped.

Here is a newer shot of the motor,

Re: Looking to buy a lt1 motor

can you get me a shipping quote to 34476 please? what accessories does it come with? what ratio rockers are they? if they aren't 1.6's or 1.7's, i don't want them. i'll just order my own. also, i don't need the ecm or the harness. let me know your final price and shipping (seperately please) thanks.

It comes with alternator, PS pump, Meziere Electric Waterpump.
The rockers are 1.52. Comes with a bad opti that I was going to use with the Delteq ignition system which uses the optical portion of the optispark.

Shipping is going to be between $300 and $500 with the crate fee.
I'll call tomorrow and get a definate estimate on shipping.
I'll think of a decent price without the ecm/harness/rockers.

Re: Looking to buy a lt1 motor

A friend of mine has two stock LT1s sitting in his garage. Any mod you want can be added for the price of parts. He's really just looking to get some spending cash and clean out his garage. Let me know what you want, and i can get you his email address.

Re: Looking to buy a lt1 motor

I've decided to keep the motor. My brother got me the Delteq ignition so I guess I am going to put my car together and enjoy it for awhile.

sorry.
