Hurst Competition Plus Shifter

Hurst Competition plus short throw shifter. The precursor to the billet plus. If anyone has one, please let me know. I'd be willing to trade a nearly new B&M ripper that is in my car or pay cash. Thanks.

You sure you want he comp +? I used to have that one and it is really a POS compared to the billet plus. I liked the chrome handle and white know on the comp+, but it felt like crap compared to the newer model. I ended up getting a white ball to go on my billet plus and am very happy with it.

sorry if you didnt want the unsolicited advice.

Re: Hurst Competition Plus Shifter

Thanks for the response, but yeah, the Competition is the exact one I want. I have a Ripper now, have had Pro5.0, Billet Plus, and all the others and nothing compares to the competition, for me anyway. It doesn't look nearly as nice, but the gates are more positive, and I never feel nervous going from 2-3 like I do with mine and especially do with the Pro 5.0. The only downside to that shifter is it doesn't have the stops built in like the newer one does.

You don't still have yours do you?

No, I sold that car years ago. I left the shifter in it.
