Hello all,

A noisy lifter and ailing Optispark (high RPM miss) have prompted me to do some work on my Z. I figured it would be a good time for some upgrades while I'm in there.
The consensus seems to say that the LS7 lifters would be the best choice. I will probably also install the LT4 extreme duty timing chain from Cloyes (9-3651X3) and a LT4 Hotcam.
I already put 1.6 Crane Gold Race RRs and CM612 springs on to support future upgrades but have since learned that those springs are not so good. So looking for the following:

For sure:
LS7 Lifters
LT4 Hot cam or equivalent.
LT4 extreme duty Timing chain (GM or Cloyes)


Maybe:
Valve springs.
OE quality Opti or at least a good cap and rotor (Depends on teardown inspection)
Water pump (again depends on inspection)

Would like:
LT4 heads and intake or decent ported stock or other affordable heads.
Headers and Y pipe if the heads come off.
Bigger TB

Any help in acquiring these item would be appreciated.
The top 3 are $593 total from Summit but if anyone is looking to unload, maybe we can help each other out.
