exhaust manifold bolts

I broke two off (i think one normal lenght and one longer one for another nut to fit on) in the head. They're getting taken out at the shop this week. But....now I need some bolts for the exhaust manifold. Anybody got any laying around they wouldn't mind shipping to me here in Germany?

They shouldn't be hard to find at a hardware or auto parts place. If some broke off, I'd replace all of them now, so next time it's less troublesome. And use a thread chaser in the holes to clean them out. I antisieze mine.

Thanks JP....that's a good idea about replacing all of 'em.

I can't just run down to the auto parts store over here in Germany for American car parts. Since I'm gonna get a whole set, I'll just purchase them online and have 'em shipped.
It really is a MAJOR pain in my A$$ to work on your American car over here. If anything goes wrong,,you can count on a 7-10 day delay waiting on parts to arrive.

Well, they don't really have to be special bolts, necessarily. Any of same pitch and length will pretty much work. Don't need to be 'car parts' but do need to have SAE threads. Are SAE Bolts non-existent there? Even longer ones could be cut down and ground with a chamfer or re-threaded to clean the threads afterwards.

If you buy some, buy a set of shorty header bolts. They are like heaven going back in compared to stock ones.

JP and Jag....
That's my problem....I'm over here in the land of metric systems and the garage I've got the car at has nothing but metric sizes from BMWs, VWs, Mercededs, etc......
I'm not trying to be a pecker about this, but what seems SO simple to the guys back in the states is a major pain in the a$$ over here. It just sucks that my progress is being held up by 4 or 5 bolts.
What I would really like is for someone to get them for me and send them to me....of course I would pay for it....
I could order them through the PX car parts store, but I would get charged an arm&leg and it would take 3-4 weeks to come in.
STS95T/A is looking for the bolts that I need....hopefully he can hook me up. If not, anybody willing to help me out? Now I need the long and short bolts for the exhaust and two intake manifold bolts.

Thanks,

Do you have an APO address? I think the shorty header bolts are either $20 or $30 dollars for the pack, probably $5 to ship. If you can paypal me the money I'll hook you up. I don't know what sizes the other bolts you need are, but a stealership shouldn't have any problems charging a credit card and sending them to you, or GM parts direct online.

jag,
Yep, I have an APO address and appreciate your willingness to work with me. I'll send you a PM in a minute to discuss details. I already tried the stealership and all of them refused to send to me except one. That one wanted to charge me 40 bucks for S/H because they would be "going out of our way" Needless to say, I didn't bother.
Thanks again.
