96 Dodge Ram Lift Kit?

I'm probably looking for this in the wrong place, but I'm looking for a suspension lift for my 96 4x4 Ram. If you have one, let me know!

Hey whats size lift are you looking for and whats your price range? I have a 97 Ram 1500 Sport 4x4 and the lift I have is pretty inexpensive and I run 35x1250r/15 BFG Mud Terrains without issues. I will attach a link to a picture of it and you can PM me if you would like details/pricing.

Re: 96 Dodge Ram Lift Kit?

I'm wanting to clear 37's...After some research it looks like I'll either have to use FabTech's 5.5" kit with 2" coil spring spacers or a Skyjacker 7" long arm kit. The Skyjacker is probably the way to go...but it's almost $3000.

I could probably clear 37's but it would be close. It used to sit a tad higher but my coil springs are starting to sag from all the off roading/beating I give it. I will probably be buying an actual kit before to long as well, I want 40's I think. I will give some links to other lifts as well so you can choose. You can run 35's easy with the 4.5" kits offered, add a 2" body lift to that and you clear 37's with room to spare. I just have Tuff country coil spacers, and a 2" body lift right now.

6.5" $1895:http://www.truckn-store.com/product....t.asp&ID=91816

5" $989: http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/I...26232510387027

5" $709: http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/I...19997810354884

Those are just a few from a quick search I did. I wouldn't spend $3000 on a lift kit thats for sure tho. I also noticed that every manufacturer recomends a smaller tire than what will actually clear. My Lifted 94 Dakota only recomended a 31" tire and 33's cleared. Dodges have big fenderwells, and clear a much larger tire than they say. For instance, I put just the leveling spacers in the front, then i went with the 35" tires...they cleared , but rubbed occasionally on the low speed sharp corners....i put the body lift in and have lots of room...So I believe a 37/13.5's should fit with a 4.5/5" lift. My Rims also stick out a bit further than some, and my summer tread is 35/14.50 MT's....and they dont rub either, just something to think about.
