10 bolt 3 series carrier

I currently have a 2.73 rear. I have been given a set of 3.73 gears built for a 3 series carrier.. I have the option to either get a used carrier or getting a ring gear spacer...

Since my car is raced a lot I am afraid of the added stress the spacer puts on the bolts, plus the mutiplication of the shear points on the bolts...

Who has an extra 3 series rear or carrier sitting around, Oh yeah I am a cheep a$$ so the cheeper the better. Thanks guys..

BTW, does anyone know the going price for a used carrier?

I've got a good used Torsen differential for $175.00 plus shipping.

Is it from your '86? How many miles are on it, and do you know if the posi still works the way it should?? I am on a budget and can't afford to rebuild the LSD right now, that's why I ask..

BTW, what does it way so I can figure out shipping?

No, it is out of a LS1 car. I build alot of axles here in MI. and I used to work at DTS in Warren where I learned to wrench on axles. I am opening up a small shop and I have a website going together check it out. Scott K.

If you change your mind about the ring gear spacer I got one I'd sell cheap.
