looking for 1 salad shooter to replace my bad one

also looking somewhat for some "messed" lt1 heads
basically, i need them to be cheap and so i can practice porting them
yea, i'm one of those guys that's to cheap to pay somebody to port mine when i could just do it myself

also, can you get them as high as resolution as you can
i gotta know if both are in good shape or not (especially the wheel since my one is messed)

 

I've got a junked head and one good head that have been hand ported from my car. I would let either go pretty cheap and you wouldn't have to worry about shipping because I live right across the river

Actually, I'll go you one better. I'm getting ready to port my new LT-1 heads. If you want to stop by later this week, I'm off on fridays, I'll show you the in's and outs of it. If you feel confident enough, you can have a go at it and get used to the feel

so basically, it's already ported though so i really couldn't do any work on it?

i'm just gonna hold off on that one for awhile
money is tightening up and i don't want to spend more than i should (which i'm probably already doing)

It's lightly ported. The bowls are done complete though. There is plenty of material to work with still. the main thing with aluminum is getting the feel for the material that your cutting, after that, everything just flows.
