Hey guys,

I just bought a slightly used Z06 MAF meter from someone here for my '87 translator equipped Grand National. I didn't realize it was re-calibrated for LT-1's. This will work fine for someone looking to pull there LT1 sensor on a F-Body and drop in the 85mm Z06 one. It just won't work for my Grand National upgrade project. I need one with the factory calibration for the Z06.

According to the people who make the translator for the Buick, it won't run right. The setting (on the Buick version of the translator) for the LT1 is expecting the LT1 MAF stock calibration and not the Z06 sensor with the LT1 calibration. You don't have a setting for a Z06 sensor with LT1 calibration. They said it would only cause tuning problems. People on the Buick board running translators tended to agree..... so I elected not to go down that road.
