yes it is true, i have a widebody kit for the gen 3 camaro. it fits 87-92 tho. it is double coated primer and stored safely. it is a 7 piece kit, includeing front lip, fenders, quarter panels, and side skirts. price is 400 plus ship (neg.)

This is cool. I only wish it was for the early third-gen Firebirds! It'd be v*e*r*y* retro to find a NOS widebody kit. I hope someone on this list buys it and actually uses it. Think Trans am racing circa 1983. Wide Body was the THING back then for use with big, fat, sticky race tires on endurance tracks.

I haven't seen but one installed widebody kit, and last time I saw it driving was 1993.

 

make one for the 4th gen Camaro's.
