Hey, that's not far from where I live. Well, I live in Tuscaloosa now, but my family lives Pinson. We have a lakehouse at Smith. That's a nice car, I wish I could buy it. Says it has a rebuilt title...what happened?

Giving this thread a title like you came across something neat on ebay and then giving us a link to something you are selling is deceiving.

Furthermore, blue book value means very little. Check Edmunds.com for a more realistic true market value which comes up right at 16,000 for private party when I check your vehicle.

And that's not taking into account that your vehicle has a salvage title.

Mods, as nice as some of the mods are on that car, unfortunately add very little in terms of value unless you get very lucky and find someone who wants a car exactly like yours.

Carfax link doesnt work, you need to highlight and copy and paste the actual link from hotmail.

Damn... Still missing my mod password...

Anyway... Nice car. Hopefully you'll find a buyer who is willing to look beyond the title issue.

To me it wouldn't be worth as much as you got from your car, though.

Rebuilt title will hurt its market value, a lot.

It got your attention didn't it.. That's what I intended for it to do. Ohh and if you can go buy a car with these kind of mods and miles for $16000, i'll personally come and kiss your @$$

At least i know that it'll take you any day of the week!

Thats all that matters to me!

Don't be jealous now!

I just think it's funny that he's selling this car for his friend, doesn't your friend have a computer? If he doesn't that really funny seeing he has atleast $30,000 into a weekend car and he's taking atleast a $10,000 loss and then he's going to buy a $40k vette, yet he doesn't have his own computer to create his own ebay auction

my friend has a computer but he"s too busy to fool with the hassle of putting it on ebay.

He doesn't have time to fool with people like you, he leaves it up to me because all i do is sit on my @$$ all day.

Those kind of mods and miles for 16000? Nah I couldn't find that kind of a deal. But those kinds of mods and miles with a salvage title? Unless you get really lucky or keep this thing for sale for several months, you're going to be eating humble pie when you have to lower the 'buy it now/reserve' price.

When exactly did I call the car slow or slower than my car?

And ... I'm not jealous. I could sell my cars and buy two of those cars with money left for a supercharger kit if I was jealous. I'm just being realistic with some facts that you seem to be conveniently ignoring.

1- You posted this in the lounge acting like you came across a great find only for us to find out its your auction which in itself is shady, not to mention not allowed in the lounge which I'm sure you knew.

and

2- You are asking too much.

Why must some people on this forum resort to 'my car is faster than yours' as their only form of intelligible conversation/debate?

And even more interesting is the fact that apparently you've now sold 3 or 4 2000-2001 WS6 Trans Ams here on CZ28.com... got a little business going on here or what? Weird how you had to post and ask for a carfax report for your own best friend's car 6 months before you sold it.

Then a quick check of your ebay feedback shows you bought several million spamable email addresses for 10 bucks.

http://web.camaross.com/forums/searc...der=descending

You sound like a real winner.

Amazing what a little searching on the 'net will do when you're board.

Yeah, he had all that time to plan building that car and organizing to have the work done on it, and the time to put 15,000 miles on it on the weekends but he doesn't have 10 minutes to set-up an ad on ebay. give me a break. I think someones trying to hide something. If you are running a business and this guy is your boss, that's understanable but your not telling us the whole story and that's why everyone's giving you a bunch of crap. If your afraid their going to kick you off the board for free advertising, well then that's too bad.
