I have a set of wheels and tires off a 1997 Camaro SS convertible. They are stock 16" ZR-1 silver wheels with 245/50/ZR16 Kumho Ecsta Supra tires. Tires have a good 75-80% tread left. One wheel has small flat spot on the rim that is barely noticable, it does not affect handling, ride and does not loose air. Has 4 SS center caps. I would rate them an 8 out of 10. Local pickup only. Va. Beach, Va. Asking $400 for the lot.

Convertables has 16", check it out.

 

No sh*t...... I did not know that. Any reason why?

 

Something to do with the fact that convertibles are not as rigid as coupes and therefore the ride quality would suffer with the shorter sidewalls of a 17 in. tire. 16 in. tires as you know have a taller sidewall therefore softer ride. I now have 17 in. tires on my vert. and do not notice any diff. Just GM I guess.

 

Ya the 16s are hard as **** to sell. I had a set for like a year and a half trying to get rid of them.
