I got just what you guys need.
A freshly rebuilt 4L60-E that is suppose to hold 450rwhp and a 3600 Pro Yank (1000 dollar stall) Stall Convertor.

Would this be a straight trade? I have a stocker 4L60E in my 1994 Z/28 with 58k on it. How about some info on your T56? What would we do meet at someone's place and do a swap part for part? I have just wanted a T56 for some time but I dont have the money for a new or slightly used used one.

It has a spec stage 2 clutch, and I use Royal purple synthetic tranny fluid for manuals. Yeah if it is as good shape as my T56, it will be straight up

 

Its in great shape, the original owner put 28,000 easy miles on it for the first 9 years of its life. He was in his 50's and barely took it out. I got it and put 30,000 on it in the last 2 years. I drive 1.5 hours to Cleveland alot since my g/f and her family live there. Highway driving mostly. Most of the time I drive it easy with the occasional race here or there. Otherwise I baby the car knowing how Auto's sometimes are. I was going to invest in a B&M 24000 GVW tranny cooler and new fluids this spring but having seen this post it would be economincal to do it while it is out. Other than that the transmission shifts great its a strong runner. Its seen the track one time for 3 runs and I never launch hard since I just spin anyways. How and when would we be doing this? Are we going to switch PCM's too? I have an AKM cable if you want madwolf to reflash them for the swap or tune either. Not sure on the method on the PCM side of the swap.. How about the wiring harness, anything need changed there? All I know is about a year ago someone was swaping straight up and said it was very easy since they had both cars with complete parts next to each other. If you want to speak over the phone let me know also. I have a week off next week if that isnt too early.

What is the complete list of parts needed from the A4 car to be put on the M6 car for it to work? And vice versa?

Wanted to do this for a while, just afraid of the work involved.

If that T-56 is in good shape I'd be willing to trade for my FLP lvl 4 with 2800-3K stall 'verter, cooler, and autometer temp guage. It has apx 6K mile on it...real nice.

I have a '95 A4 car That I would like to Put a T56 in. The trans was rebuilt about 2 years ago. It has a 3000RPM TCI Torque converter in it. It shifts pretty hard but it has done that since the rebuild. If this interests anyone. I'd love to set up a swap +some cash.

for an even swap i'd be willing to drive quite aways. It's still installed so i'd need a few days to remove it.

 

how much you asking for the t-56? Or are you going to keep it?
