Vortech Aftercooler (Upgraded parts)

$900 plus half of shipping!! If you are interested in an upgraded aftercooler setup, let me know. I have yet to use it and most items are in the box. It won't be cheap just an FYI to all the lowballers but at the same time, i don't necessarily have to get rid of it. It is used and I bought it from a member on this board. I never used it and have plans to throw it on my car once everything is about ready, but might consider selling it if I can get back what I paid for it which was $1200.

A picture and a better description would help you sell it much faster. "Kit" is a very vague word.

And you might want to keep dropping the price, until you hit the range for used intercoolers. Just to give you an idea, I paid $180 for mine, including 3" pipes, boots and shipping.

Lou

P.S.: Badass TA!

Thanks for tips Big, here is a pic: http://s114.photobucket.com/home/ponyackn and a description of what is included:

* the aftercooler unit

* all tubing from the blower aside from the 90* elbow Mine has already been cut to fit the after cooler tubing, so that will save you time and you can keep your stock elbow untouched.

* an UPGRADED Shur-Flo pump that will kick the crap out of the pump that Vortech supplies you with. This thing ROCKS!

* an UPGRADED water tank, Vortech P/N 8N105-010

* an UPGRADED super-duty sized heat exchanger, 3x the size Vortech supplies. Helps cool the water/antifreeze much better.

* all hoses, clamps and fittings that I needed to use, PLUS all the ones that are new that I did not. You get it all. We're talking probably over $100 in hoses/fittings/connectors alone.

* heat shield jackets for the unit and one of the tubes.

* original Vortech instruction booklet.

The previous owner stated about 4k miles on the setup and about $2200 invested.
Sorry, I won't be backing down on the price much further than this. Some people (TA owners esp.) don't want to hack up the front end for a front mount, and A2W setups perform equally well when set up right and for the right applications.

Ah, that's a liquid cooled setup, that's definitely worth more than my air-to-air simple intercooler.

The Shur-flo pumps sure kick a**, I know first hand, I got two. Why does this system utilize a high-pressure pump with a shut-off switch instead of a higher-flow low-pressure pump?

Not trying to be a jerk, but I can get this new from Summit for $950 (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/VOR-8N201-020), are you able to come down on the price at all?

I'm not offended. My price is lower, plus my setup includes upgraded parts. If someone has an offer that's reasonable, just pm me.
