Vented Opti "Conversion Kit"

I have a complete change over for the '95 and up vented opti. It includes the vacuum harness, electrical harness, front timing cover w/ new gaskets and seals, MSD coil and a like new GM vented opti (less than 3k miles and ran perfect). I removed the cap to inspect it and it looks like new inside.

If anybody is doing a doing a cam swap now would be a good time to upgrade to a vented opti. You will also need a later model cam and timing chain set. Looking for $350 for the whole thing shipped within the continental US. Will not separate at this time. PayPal ok. Here are some pics:

The 95-97 use the vented version of the opti, which was more durable. Also a water pump failure wouldn't normally kill it unlike the non vented ones. You can get more details here:

By the way if you decide to upgrade to the vented opti you will need a 95-up style cam and timing set. I have a new GM "Extreme Duty" timing set available also.

I'm using a Custom Cam by Loyd Elliott/Bret Bauer, and using a 96 Corvette block for my stroker. Not using the block thats in my 94.

I"m pretty sure that their cam can be used with either opti. You would just need to set the dowel pin to the correct length. Check with Lloyd as he can confirm this one way or another.

It really has nothing to do with the block that you're using. The difference lies in the way the opti itself is driven. If you follow that link I posted above you'll see what I mean.

Sorry can't do $300. This is already a great deal! Just price all these parts and you'll see what I mean. New "HD Timing Set" is $200. I'm also including the roller bearing for the water pump drive because you will not be able to remove the stock one w/o damaging it.

Right now I'm waiting to hear back from 96azhawk, but I'm looking to sell everything together. Might consider parting out if it hasn't sold in a few weeks.
