Cool Turbo setup for sale!

I have a turbo setup for a cabd sbc but would fit pretty much anything from 67-92 with a little modification but im pretty sure it would be dang near impossible to fit it in a forth gen engine compartment but if you buy it you can try.

The kit is a single rajay turbo setup that is supposed to be good for about 10 lbs which i would say is about 100 horses. The kit has about 3500 miles on it but has sat for about 3 years. It still spins fine but i have a rebuild kit for it if you would want it. I had origenally wanted about 1000 for it but i would really like to get rid of it so i am open to offers. If anyone is interested i can give more details and some pics. Would consider trading or partial trading for any LT1 performance parts or a set of 99-up black leather T/A seats.

Thanks

Somebody has to want this it will bolt up to a carb sbc and dang near bolt up to a third gen (all you would need is a 78 corvette exhaust manifold and ducting from the turbo to the throttle body) and its worth at least 100 horses. Just make an offer and ill consider just about any trades that involve performance LT1 parts.

Ill get back to you in a few hours i have to go to my house and look as to what model it is. In the kit it comes with manifold, turbo, crossover pipe some ducting down pipe, carb plate(to use if it was a carb motor, pyrometer and other stuff ill have to look and double check what all it comes with. It does not have an intercooler. like i said i will get vack to you on exactely what it comes with.

This setup is originally a "draw through" setup, this is why it doesn't have an intercooler. The kit can be easily made into a blow-through if you got a carb bonnet.......check it out

do you think ill be able to get away with 9.5:1 compression if i used this kit with a used volvo intercooler and a spearco water injection unit?

I would be going in an 81 malibu with a 350 and 4bbl holley. Also, it has a 280H cam, will that be ok or will i need a new one?

yes the compression is not the issue it should work fine as far as the cam a turbo or s/c would be ideal but as long as the cam provided a fair amount of low end torque to help the turbo spool up quickly itt would work fine. Its not as if it wouldnt work it is just how well it will work.

You should have plenty of clearence in that car. In order for it to be intercooled, i thas to be switched to a Blow-Through setup. Your cam will work, but to get the absolute most out of a turbo on a carb setup, you should get a turbo-custom cam. The separation and duration will allow it to spool quicker.
