The standard torque converter in 1987 and later L-98 and LT1 vehicles stalls too low for a modified engine. To correct this, LPE offers a converter that stalls approximately 500 RPM higher. This increase improves 1/4 mile performance by allowing the engine to enter its peak power range faster. This converter maintains the lock up clutch feature which will produce improved 1/4 mile speeds. This also
allows a modified engine to idle at a higher RPM by decreasing engine drag on the converter. In some applications, we recommend installing a manual lock up switch to improve your ET. Fits 1987-97 700-R4 & 4L60E transmission equipped vehicles.

where did you get this from and are you sure it works fine? I live 75 miles away in Berlin how much would you take I pick up? is there any cruise spots for f bodies around Mad Town.
