Toque Converters
The #7 has about 200 runs on it and is working perfect
and the # 8 has been refreshed by PI and has only 10 runs on it.
They are both non lockup and fit a 700R4 or a 4L60E
My car a 96 Trans-Am with 360rwh was getting a best of 1.28 60ft and a 10.80 et at a 127mph.
Car specs. Weight= 3300lbs, 383lt1, ford 9" 4.56, 30x9 radial tire, 4L60E trany, (AC,PS, deleated).
#7 stalled at 4200, and the #8 stalled at 4800
There is a big gain by going non lock-up over the lock-up PI converters. My 60' with the lock-up was 1.55 and with the non lock-up was 1.32 with no other changes.
The only reason I went away from these converters was I went to a full race ATI 8" non lock converter. I didn't gain any 60' but the car was more consistant.
