I have some problems with our deal for the 16 inch eagle wheels and tires. They were supposed to have been here yesterday according to the tracking number. UPS said rescheduled delivery for today. I hadn't recieved anything by about 4:00 and decided to call ups to check on the shipment. They told me that someone (posing as me..yes told UPS that they were me and used my address) had changed the shipping address to somewhere in West Virginia to a Kennth or Keith Williams (cant remember which). I told them that they had not talked to me and they thought that someone was trying to boost my wheels so they had the address changed back to the correct one. The UPS guy just got here and there are only 3 wheels instead of 4 and no lugs or locks...Can you explain for me...?? I have 3 wheels not 4 and am missing the mounting hardware and someone is mysteriously posing as me trying to get my wheels sent to West Virginia (I am Michigan). Something doesn't add up here. I need that other rim man....I dont really know what to do. I have no use for 3 wheels so i need that 4 wheel or my money refunded....

Were you there when they delivered the rims? And what I don't understand, how can you change the shipping address. You would have to have the tracking number to do that. I would talk to Mr. Martin and find out what's going on, so the 2 of you can be on the same page. I know how hard it is to get a location on where a package is in transit with out a tracking number...it is impossible. So, it leads me to believe that someone that has access to that number tried to change some things around.

he has 25 dollars from me too for some brake mounts, i was given a tracking number but nothing ever showed up on the UPS site with it

 

Yeah I was there when they were delivered. I asked the ups guy where the other one is and he said this is all he had. Each rim had its own tracking number which i wasn't aware of until they arrived. I was only given the number for one wheel and i got that one delivered. So no tracking number for the 4th wheel. I don't even know for sure if it was shipped or not. God only knows where it is. Most likely on it's way to West Virginia. And yes I do know that you must have a tracking number to change a shipment...thats what doesn't add up about this whole deal. Why would the shipper change addresses if hes going to ship them anyway? He had his money....

 

was the tracking number ever posted here on the forums? there are plenty of shady people...

 

no it wasn't...it was given to me over the phone...

 

anyone got any ideas...? I can't seem to get ahold of him...Hopefully he will get my emails or read this sometime tonight...

 

I got ahold of him We will be talking and trying to figure out how all this happened. I will update when I find out something...
