Taking offers on T56 from LT1...

I'm keeping an automatic in the impy, so I'll be selling the T56 stuff. It is currently in a 95 LT1 Z28, but I'm hoping to pull it all next week. The car is in Tyler, TX.

I know there are probably a bunch of people interested. I'm going to start taking offers at

SS_Parts@yahoo.com

If the buyer wants to pick it up, then I'll take a little less. I can deliver to within ~100 miles of Tyler, TX, somewhere along the way to Houston, TX, or make me an offer.

If the buyer wanted to help pull it (and the engine that is attached to it) then take it home, then I'll take even less

ThankSS!

well... i live in abilene, tx... i have a 96 trans am that's an automatic, and it's the first sports car i've ever owned that is an automatic. i'm really wanting to convert it over to a 6-speed... a friend of mine in town has a computer for a 6-speed, so i'm all set up... i just need the tranny, hydraulics, and the pedal assembly. i don't really have any cash to give you for the tranny... but i do have an a4 that i'd be willing to trade for the 6-speed if you're interested. i'm not sure exactly where tyler is, but if it's within 100 miles, if you wanted to drive out here, or give me a hand in getting out there wednesday/thursday of this week... i'd be more than happy to help you pull the engine and transmission out of the other car. i have no qualms about helping with the manual labor... hell, it's gonna take some legit effort on my part to get the 6-speed conversion done for my car, but i'm definitely ready to shed myself of this automatic set-up cuz i really don't like automatics, i'm used to having m6's. if you're willing to do an even trade, and you want me to help pull your stuff out... i'm happy to lend a hand. just let me know something... you can just reply here and i'll catch it or you can email me at illegalactivist@yahoo.com. later.

- jay

EDIT: if you wanted to bring the car here, i could help you pull the 6-speed, and install my a4 in the other car... we could swap computers, and then you'd have the a4/a4 computer to sell which would be equal to or more than what you'd get off of the 6-speed. let me know.

ok, I'm wanting $1000. Considering all that I'm including (tranny, pedals, clutch, hydraulics, aftermarket shifter, heck even the 6-speed console plate, etc.), that is more than reasonable.

The next time my 4L60E automatic goes out, I'll put a TH350, TH400, or 200 4-R in.

1000 is cheap for a conversion if the tranny is still good,

they go on ebay for 1700 USD easy.
