SuperRam for LT1

For sale is the full setup of the Accel/LPE SuperRam made for the LT1 which included the shortened plenum to fit under the cowl of the F-body. Included is the plenum, runners, base, fuel rail w/ AFPR, gasket set, and a few other doo-dads that make installing on the LT1 easier.

[EDIT] The manifold has some mild hand porting to better match the plenum to the runners and the runners to the base. [/EDIT]

I am asking $1000 firm. I will see if anybody here would like to give it a good home before it goes on eBay. I will only ship UPS Ground or better with insurance to a confirmed address. Please feel free to PM me for details or questions.

Here's a couple pics. The in-car photo was from just before I pulled it out:

More photos in full resolution here.

Not quite sure. It seemed to have more midrange, but I didn't dyno it to get exact numbers.

I forgot to mention in my original post that the manifold has some mild hand porting to better match the plenum to the runners and the runners to the base.

BTW, this was on my car for several years and not once did I have to chase down a vacuum leak. Everything seats together quite well. I left the lid attached to the plenum since it doesn't need to be removed to assemble. Since it isn't leaking, I thought it would be better to leave it on.

I believe it has alot of low end grunt and great mid-range. It was designed by Lingenfelter for Accel. Nothing from LPE is junk.

Edit: Looking a little closer at your mods this would be a good choice if your looking for some light to light action. Plus the fact that these manifolds have a good following and a lot of info for further modding can be found easily.

Thanks for the reply Z-Rated! There's an article here where a SR was compared with a LT1 intake on an L98. The plenum used was the full-height version, so it isn't quite apples-to-apples, but close. Scroll down for the dyno comparo.

I am interested in this set up. Does it have all the needed parts for an install on an lt1 or will I have to fabricate parts for the throttle linkage, fuel rails, etc. Thanks

Also, this has the manifold base with the L on the end of the part number?

While installing the manifold will not be a no-brainer, you will not need to do any major fabricating. I will include the throttle linkage bracket I made, but it is for the '93 Z28 it was installed in, so your results may vary. The only thing you will need to get a bit creative with is the fuel lines. Being that these only use 3rd gen fuel rails, it will not just hook up to the 4th gen fuel lines. This is why I will include the blue fuel fittings seen in the first pic. Otherwise, no modifications will be needed to the fuel rails themselves. You will also need to take a little time getting all the vacuum connections worked out, but you should only need to transfer over your fittings and use rubber tubing to route them where you need since most of the fittings are at the back of the plenum.

As for the 'L' in the part number, I do not know. I am not the original owner of the manifold, and the p/n doesn't appear anywhere on the base. I do know it is for the LT1 (being that I had it installed on one), so I hope that answers your question.
