Ok, my Strange 12 bolt is back up for sale.

3 channel ABS (abs sensor is on the pumpkin)
alluminum TA cover
Eaton heavy duty 800# posi
spare Eaton heavy duty 800# posi
Billet bearing caps with 1/2" allen head bolts
4.10 and 3.73 gears
stock 33 spline axles with (billet) backing plates and bearings
upgraded circle track/tapered axles with (billet) backing plates and bearings
POR 15 epoxy coated

1/2" x 20 3" ARP wheel studs
ARP ring gear bolts safety wired in

This rearend was in my '96 Camaro for many years and handled quite a bit of abuse.

Just rebuilt with 4.10 gears, new Eaton Heavy Duty 800# posi, larger tapered circle track axles (still 33 spline) with new bearings, new billet backing plates, new ABS sensor, new everything. The last rebuild was ALL new parts, except for the housing, the yoke, and the TA cover.

The spider gears in the new Eaton posi are broken.

So you get to repair the rearend and get all the spare parts.

$1,500 firm. $200-$250 in labor/parts to rebuild it and get on the road. And the posi that has the broken spider gears can be rebuilt as well.

How far south in Cali. will you travel? I live in Glendale, AZ. and I'm visiting my parents in Oxnard, CA. in Ventura County this weekend. What is the best you can do with the price? All the parts to rebuild are there right? Let me know! Thanks!

The best I can do is $1500 with all the parts. Either way it's a great deal.

I can deliver to LA or San Diego area the week after Thanksgiving, but not this weekend.

To deliver down there I would have to drive my truck, so I would need gas money for the drive down there, I would cover the gas to get back.

And at 13-14mpg, I think it would get spendy with todays gas prices.

Shipping would probably be $100-$200 truck freight though. And I have the pallet it came on still.

 

Would you be interested in selling the spare eaton posi, I also bought a strange but I bought it from Jegs and they didn't tell me the standard posi was a us gear (P.O.S.) unit. If you unit is a 3 series and rebuildable i'm interested.
