Speed Pro blower pistons.

I have a set of Speed-pro blower pistons for sale (part #TRW-L2441F30) I used them for roughly 3,000 miles. They are still in great shape and I would reuse them but I have to go .040 over on my motor.

$250 shipped.

Thanks
Travis

Re: Speed Pro blower pistons.

Travis,

If you could provide me pics of each piston I think I might want these. I just don't want to buy something as fragile as a set of pistons without at least getting a good look at them.

Why did you have to go .040 over? If the block was worn too badly it could have worn the pistons...

Anyway, if you could either post up some pics or send me some at thebandit_23@yahoo.com I might be able to work something out with you. I'm not kicking tires here, I am looking for a set of .030 blower pistons for my TA.

Re: Speed Pro blower pistons.

Sounds good I'll try and get you some pics within the next few days.

The machine work on the bore was off I believe not worn. I could reuse the pistons but the bore is so close I might as well go .040 over and that's what my engine builder is wanting me to do.

Thanks
Travis

Re: Speed Pro blower pistons.

Are the pistons still mounted on rods? If they are (and they are stock LT1 rods), I could buy them from you still mounted and send you a set of rods to replace yours. Sometimes when you remove a piston from the rod it can give it a hairline crack or distort the piston's size. I am just a little scared of buying a set of pistons that have been pressed off of the rods...

I have like 3 sets of stock lt1 rods laying around. They are all in good shape, if you are interested (and you haven't had the pistons removed from your rods yet).

floating pin...excellent. Shoot me some pics whenever you get time. I am interested.

The wristpins and snaprings would be included, right?

Re: Speed Pro blower pistons.

Travis,

I am going to pass I think. I found a set just like them for $280 new (machine shop discount), so I think I will go with them, since they are only a little more...Thanks for the pics.

For anyone looking to buy these pistons, they look awesome. I have the pics in my email, they look perfect if anyone wants to see them I can post his pics.
