Should I sell or part out the Z28?

Which would be more profitable? I have the car in my Sig.

These are the reasons I'm thinking about parting it out rather than selling it.

1. Don't have a title for it, I bought it in Florida and Its going to cost around $400 to get it in my name.

2. Minor front end collision- bumper cover is cracked

3. Needs a clutch

These three reasons could cost me around $1000 to get taken care of. If I put another $1000 in it I don't think I'm going to get what I paid for it.

It really depends on you and how much you really like and want to keep the car. If it is a total POS mechanically, then part it. But if it has minor comsmetic problems that can be fixed relatively cheaply, then keep it. I had an 83 280ZX I loved and wish to this day I hadn't sold it.

Oh, sorry I didn't explain. I want to get rid of the car. I just bought another car thats in better shape then my Z28 and don't need 2 cars. I want to either sell it and buy a Suzuki GSXR or part it out and use the $ to buy one. I need a new toy. -Brad

With no title you won't get **** for it other than what is in it as a part out car. So either way you'll come out the same.

after the last post, part it out! im sure alot of us would be very grateful if we could get some of your parts. As for me I'm more than interested in the scanmaster and lt4 knock module... as in 99.99% sure i'd take those items off your hands

what would you be looking for to sell the whole car? what color is it? email me at Stage1GSX@aol.com give me as much info on the whole car as possible, all the normal things someone would want to know.

Ill take the Lt4 knock if u part it out bro lemme kno thanks....!!

Also u might not get what u want in parts for it, it all depends on what u want to get for it compared to what it would be worth outright..

Are you in Austin, TX? If so, I'm right down the road from you in Waco...

I am VERY interested in your T56 if you decide to part out your car...

In my opinion, if you're more concerned about money than time, parting it out might be the way to go. Do you know Scott Zimmerman? He is, in my opinion, THE man in the Austin area with the connections, lol. He's got an '87 GTA with an LT1 and T56. He could probably find you some buyers or some other info if ya needed it. His AOL Instant Messenger handle is Zimmstoy. If you do decide to part it out, I'd probable be interested in some of the various LT1 parts.
