heres a short shifter i made for thirdgen'ers

its turned down from a solid piece of 1" bar aluminum, its about 1.5 inches shorter than the stock shifter on thje t-5. not only is it shorter so you have less movement when you shift, the stock shifter weigh about 9 ounces (w/o ****) this one only weighs about 4 ounces (w/o ****) and i bet i could very easily make one about half the weight of this one, so you guys trying to squeeze every pound out of your car to make it the lightest you can, this would be a good investment.. not to mention the shiny aluminum looks so much better than the faded scratched black shifter..


the base threads are 14x2 and the shift **** threads are 16x1.5, the same threads as the stock t-5 shifter, this is a direct replacement, you can use your stock **** and everything. if you want one with different sized threads i can very easily make one for you, as well as improve on anything and make one to taylor to your every whim, shorter, longer, lighter, heavier, anything you want..
