its a blow off valve from a 2nd gen turbo DSM (eclipse/talon). a popular mod guys do to them is to crush down the top of the aluminum housing so that it puts more pressure on the spring which makes them hold more boost before they start leaking. this one was tested and held 20psi before leaking. in stock form i beleive they will hold 12-13psi
