Yeah, I love my astro as well. I have almost 170k on my 92 astro AWD EXT! I have seen astros with well over 200k on the stock TBI 4.3. I just would love to put sme better brakes on the back, the drums drive me nuts..LOL. My drums are out of round and it jerks real bad when slowing down.

Hey ...
I only had one astro that didn't go over 200k !!! It was my 1996 AWD .. the front wheel bearings started to hummmm ... they are ONLY used on the astro so of course they were $795 EACH FROM THE DEALER ONLY !!! needless to say , after the radio code BS , the rear AC , and the front hubs , it was cheaper to trade it in !!! I've got a 2000 now , my wife gets to enjoy that !!

Yeah, I replaced one of the front hubs a few months ago...$375 from Autozone. I also have removed the front DS since it went bad and I did not want to spend the $475 (at the time) for a new one. I have ben talking to the wife about getting a newer one, but she loves our TrailBlazer too much to give it up I think.

hey ...
I know what it's like ... atleast you can get a cheaper hub now , $400 is still outragous though !! considering they use the SAME hub on other trucks with a different bolt pattern ... oh well ..
thanx
