I looked long and hard for an all original red 6 speed in 100% original condition to start with. I bought the car from the original owner who purchased in South Carolina and brought to Tx. Every modification has been done by myself in the last 8 months. I am a multiple certified ASE tech and Service manager at a dealership. The car has 62750 miles on it. It has 3-4 very small rock chips in paint which have been repaired With GM touch up paint. Perfect gray leather interior, T-tops, chrome WS6 wheels with brand new (less than 3,000 miles) BFG tires. Mods are-front LS1 brake swap with carbon metallic pads and crossdrilled rotors front and rear, KYB 8 way adjustable shocks, Edelbrock lower control arms, panhard rod, and strut tower brace. 3.73 gears, synthetic fluid and all new bearings in rear axle. balanced aluminum driveshaft. B&M ripper shifter, centerforce dual friction clutch. Underdrive pulley, K&N filter, Granatelli mass air meter, Accel fuel pressure regulator, Edelbrock headers, custom y pipe with a Dynomax bullet ( to eliminate rasp and pops) Flowmaster cat back, Stainless 4 inch rolled tips, MSD wires, 6al, and coil, NGK plugs, NX 150hp wet system with purge, heater, gauge. Have new in box, accel 30lb injectors, Lt4 intake and Lt4 roller rocker arm kit. Also have set of 2 brand new never mounted BFG drag radials, 275-40-17. As far as price issues, i know what is available and what it costs. I work at a dealership. This car is collector quality, no dings, scratches or wear of any kind. I'm not trying to sell to a teen who wants his first car cheap, i'm trying to sell to someone with a job who can afford to have a pristine ram air as a second car or collectable.

15.5? um, i do not know what they are feeding you guys in texas, but you can pick up an ls1 trans am, ws6, around 2000 for less than 15.5

Granted you have a clean ws6, but that is what you have.

 

The overpriced KBB value for private party is 10.5 for your car with nearly every option.

mods do not make it a collector item, nor will anyone want to pay extra for them, less you are selling it to a person that would mod the car anyway, and in that case, they would get something else anyway.

Sorry, your car is clean, but it does not justify anywhere near how much you are "firm" on getting for it. But then again, a fool and hi money are soon parted and someone may pay all that for your car.

 

GUYS WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM? IF HE CANT GET 15.5 FOR IT HE WONT SELL IT AND HE'LL HAVE TO LOWER IT. HE DOESN'T NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU GUYS BASHING HIS THREAD. IF HE WANTS 15.5 BECAUSE HE PUT LOTS OF WORK INTO IT AND THATS WHAT HE THINKS ITS WORTH THEN LEAVE IT AT THAT.
