Ported Heads with Comp 306
Ported Heads with Comp 306
Gauging interest. Heads and cam are still on the car. I'm going with trickflows and an LE cam.
Heads flow as follows:
1.94 Intake/1.60 Exhaust .100-.600:
61/50
130/90
180/128
220/149
243/163
245/173
Assembled with comp 918 beehives, 7/16 studs and guide plates. - EDIT 3/6/20: I'm keeping the 7/16 studs.
Asking $750 for the entire setup. The heads can be ported further for additional flow.

Re: Ported Heads with Comp 306
This car made 328 to the wheels on a mustang dyno with a madtuner tune from 06 that was for a different cam. Very rich and the timing of course is off. I think that on a Mustang dyno i could have gotten closer to 350 to the wheels with a better tune.
Obviously, dynojet numbers would be between 10-15% higher.
I never got a track time because the clutch exploded last time I was at the race track.

Here is the dyno video. It was running super rich and if you watch the end of the video you'll see the white smoke - it had a leaking head gasket.

Heads and cam are now removed from the car.
Also have 30lb injectors (red tops).
Listen to the new head/cam setup with 36# injectors and a moe bailey tune

Re: Ported Heads with Comp 306
no problem bro, I love how it it sounds too. It is an LE custom grind based on my setup so I don't know if he wants me giving out specs but it is for my stock displacement. I told him I wanted a power band from 2k-6500 as opposed to the 306 which is a much longer power band (2500-6800). According to Lloyd this cam will skirt much harder at low and mid range and make more power than the 306 up to 6200 RPM.
