Parting out entire 4th gen formula, some performance, absolutly EVERYTHING must go!!!!
Green 95' Firebird Formula Automatic 4-Speed Tranmission (4l60e)
The transmission is built for high performance and can handle up to 550 hp/lb. ft. of torque, it is in perfect working order, shifts nice and HARD! the buildsheet is as follows:
-Borg Warner Deluxe Overhaul Kit
-Alto Red Eagle 2.625" Wide Hi-perf. Band
-New GM 10-vane front pump, teflon bushing
-HD "The Beast" Sun Gear Shell
-.500" Boost Valve (higher line pressure)
-Borg Warner 29 element forward sprag
-7 clutch frictions in 3-4 pack
-Sonnax servo release check valve
-ALL sealing rings, Torrington bearings,
bushings, thrust washers, seals and
gaskets replaced. New filter
-New #716 Input Clutch Housing
-New TCC/internal wiring harness
-New GM Reverse/Input Drum
-Borg Warner Low/Reverse Roller Assembly
-Hardened Vane Pump Rings
-Reverse Input Piston modified
-Longest GM band apply pin, for minimum
servo travel
-Bonded forward/3-4/reverse pistons
-Spacer plate feed holes drilled, HD 1-2
accumulator spring. 3-4 accumulator
blocked.
All clutch packs set for minimum clearance,
electrical solenoids & manifold pressure
switch known to be good (58K mi. on them).
All hard parts hand-selected or new.
Both the transmission and torque converter (B@M torqmaster converter with a 2400 stall-speed) are basically new, with one week of to-and-from work use and approx. 400 highway miles. I DID NOT EVEN HAVE THE OPPERTUNITY TO ABUSE THIS CAR IN THE 5 DAYS I HAD IT AFTER THE INSTALL. With the sale of the tranny and converter I will include a LARGE transmission cooler from Hayden (built for use in RV's with over a 31,000 pound gross vehicle weight) and an in-line auxilary tranmission oil filter from Magnefine. Both the cooler and filter, are brand new and still in the box. Total spent on these 4 items is $2,000- (and I got a good deal) and I will let them go as a package for $1,800 - which I truely feel is a good deal considering the quality involved.
The engine -
Mint lt1 v8, 62k miles, no fluid leaks, noises, compression leaks, or problems of ANY KIND. This is a STRONG running, fairly low miles, lt1.
The engine, starter, alternator, air intake (and a few other things are negotiable) with the computer, for $1200. NONE of these components need ANY repair, all are in perfect working order, and I will even personally clean them all before pick-up or shipment. The computer has been tuned by PCMFORLESS for 4 extra degrees of ignition timing, it has no speed governor, and it has also been tuned for the new lockup on the built 94' impala 4l60E transmission. This engine has received mobil 1 synth. 5w-30 every 2500-3500 miles since 20k miles, the fuel system has been cleaned with varius products on a regular basis. The engine burns NO OIL, has NO LEAKS, makes NO NOISES, and has received no major repair And has no buildup.
Rearend -
Stock rear with a 2:73 gear ratio with AUBURN replacement pinion, spider gears, carrier (stage 2), posi unit, and possibly a few other things. I will talk to my mechanic about the detail of it, I do not know ALOT about rearends. That is pretty much the bulk of it however. I am going to have the rearend completely inspected before sale, and I will receive proof, and receipt from this to make sure it, and nothing on it, is/are bent or damaged in any way. price to come, but make me an offer and it will DEFINATLY be considered.
MISC -
If you are interested in any other parts, let me know. I am willing to sell ANYTHING on the car. The interior is mint, and I have some replacement parts, switches, buttons, center console, pedal covers, etc... all still in the package from GM.
WHATS WRONG/WHY IM PARTING -
The car recently side-swiped a guard rail and caused considerable cosmetic damage, but very little mechanical.
BROKEN -
Drivers headlight assembly
bumper cover
impact bar (air bags did NOT go off and no damage was done to radiator)
drivers front quarter panel
hood and drivers door have bad scratches but are not bent/dented
the rear drivers quarter panel (unibody) is badly damaged, but all
surrounding panels, bars, pieces of unibody were not bent
the drivers door, and rear hatch close perfectly, no rubbing, or noises
rear bumper cover was ripped off,
drivers rear (DR) wheel is bent, tire is damaged
DR brake rotor is cracked
a piece of exhaust pipe, AFTER the flowmaster muffler (which is also for sale) was bent, but not bad enough to damage or bend anything else.
Non-accident related - Both power window motors are on their last legs.
All and all the car is not that badly damaged, but to cut off, re-fab, and replace that panel of unibody would be expensive and I do not have the money to repair the car. Because of all the cosmetic damage the car is worth MUCH more, in parts. So that's what I'm doing. I wanted to give this information out, so that I can assure potential buyers that the parts for sale have not been damaged or affected in any way.
None of the parts mentioned have been taken out of the car yet, and it may take a couple weeks to get them out, as of now. If you are interested in ANY part of the car that was not listed as damaged, let me know and I will get back to you.
My e-mail is JaredRR@hotmail.com
Because I receive alot of junk mail, put "FIREBIRD PARTS" in caps, in the subject line so I don't accidentally delete it.
In the remote chance that anyone would like to purchase the entire car as-is, I will sell it for $4,500 non-negotiable.
Thank you for any interest,
Jared

i have that center light thing. 35 bucks + shipping sound good?
that "panel" you speak of is actually unibody, and is the reason im parting out this car
Flowmasters' 10 months old - 40 bucks + shipping
it won't be a shell for a long time...
but i would anticipate about $300 for the shell - negotiable
the rest of you i already talked to individually
and no, i do not have that brake handle in black, mine was grey
thanks all

Hey Jared, you got the little rubber cup holder thing that sits in the console? My friend threw mine out the window still attached to a soda bottle.
Let me know on a price cause I have no clue what it's worth.
