Intermeditate steering shaft.
Hi, I would like to buy the steering shaft under hood that includes the two universals and the slip joint in between the univerisals. Whole assembly is app. 12-13 Inches long. Does it have a rag joint (2" fiber disc) just above the lower univerisal? The 96-97's are not supposed to have the rag joint. I need the shaft without the rag joint. I would like to purchase yours if it is not damaged. Please sent me a e-mail on yours and a price if yours is what I need. Thanks.

Steering shaft
Look under hood beside powerbrake booster on the firewall. You will see the steering shaft coming out of firewall. App. 8" from the firewall, you will have a univerisal joint bolted to steering rod coming out of firewall. I need this univerisal joint down through the 2nd univerisal joint that clamps to the splines coming out of the main rack and pinion steering below the engine. This assembly of the two univerisal joints and slip joint in between is app. 12-14" long. That rag joint that I talked about is a 2" round fiber disc with ribets in it. If you have the rag joint on this steering shaft, it would be just above the lower univerisal joint. You should not have the 2" round rag joint in between the two univerisal joints. I would like to buy your intermetiate steering shaft if you do not have this round disc in between the univerisal joints. It sounds confusing, but if you look under your hood, I think you will see what I am talking about. Please let me know if your shaft is what I need and E-mail me a price . I do not have a picture at the moment, but please let me know what you find. Thanks.
