$$$???

Sorry about the price,. but even GM parts direct has them at nearly $70 new. What's the problem??? $40 seems fair....

I think you'd have a hard time finding anyone to take apart a good filter box just to sell you the tray for $20. Who's going to do that??? Luckily for you, my box has damage to the lower parts, so the other sections are available separately. Maybe you should reconsider....

well considering i must have been a really nice guy, i gave mine away to a buddy when i bought my volant intake...im putting my car back to stock and have everything but the tray...im not saying the price is too high, just more than i am willing to pay...dont take offense cause it wasnt meant to be implied...

and to answer this "...i think you'd have a hard time finding anyone to take apart a good filter box just to sell you the tray for $20. Who's going to do that???"

people that have thread titles "parting out ....."

I'm interested in the dash assembly. This is the actual dash assembly that the instrument cluster and the passengers airbag cover are in and not the upper dash correct? It wasn't damaged in the accident? Is it the dark gray that looks almost black? If so than I am definately interested so shoot me a shipping quote to 87107 business zip code.

Camaro Dash Assembly

Yes, this would be the complete dash assembly- upper cover and the lower section including the air bag cover.. The reason the dash wasn't damaged is this car was totaled twice. The air bags blew the first time, and then they fixed the car (and replaced the dash and air bags). However, they left the original air bag modules in the car and as I understand it those are a one time use deal. So on the second accident, the (new) air bags (with old modules) didn't blow.

I will package and ship to you for $45. If you send me a private message with your Email address, I can send you a pic of the unit as it is now, still installed in the car.

Note- the dash cluster and passenger airbag are for sale separately, if you want them.

Thanks

Andrew

I'm gonna give this thread a bump for the_jag_guy. I received my dash assembly today. He sent me the whole dash assembly, including the duct work, the instrument cluster cover, the radio bezel, the lower dash pad, all the vents, the glove box and the upper dash (crash pad). Everything is in great shape. I would recommend buying from him to anybody on here!
