negative feedback

well someone is going to get some negative feedback then, because the auction is still going, like 28 minutes left. If i had scene this about 2 months ago, i would have been on top of it. I miss my 30th ann Z28 everytime i see one. Beautiful cars.

your telling me! I thought so and so did everyone by the number of compliments I got from her. Even got pulled over by a cop once so he could look at it...i wish they'd just pull you over for that

Yah, when i called him he said someone was bringing him a check tomarrow. I told him that the auction was still going, his reply "Oh, ill end that right now." Don't blame him, he got well aover what the auction was at....$18000.

oh well, guess ill keep on looking.

I bet someone was just saying that or he was hoping the auction would go higher than 13K..I bet if you call him at the end of this week he still has it

Nice car tho!

Yeh, whats that all about. The guy who bid $13k WON the auction? Does that mean the seller is legally binded to sell it to him at that price now?

No, he can "no sale" it just like any other auction. Heck if that were the case, then people would have to sell cars like that for 5K because everyone would have figured out the system.

Talking yes

Yes he is binded to sell the car to the person for 13000 it was a no reserve auction and if the auction went all the way to the end he is leagally binded to sell it to the igh bidder!!!!!!!!!

Wrong. I have run many auctions, (not e-bay, REAL auctions), and if the seller does not like the price, he/she can "no sale" that item. When that happens, the sale is null and void and the seller keeps the item. Now, unless ebay has its own set of rules this is the legal way of doing it. But, if he got 13K for it, the person that bought it is a sucker, since they only book for 7-9K anyway.

So you really think a 30th SS with 36k is only worth 7-9k dollars?

I think it's a steal at 13k.

Oops! I'm sorry, I thought that I was posting to the thread about the '95 Z28 that they want 13K for! YES, that SS is definately worth what they want for it. Sorry for the confusion

I went to check out that car this past weekend, since I only live about an hours drive from the owners place. The car wasn't as quite as good shape as the picture shows. It had a ton of rock chips all over the front and several scratches and scuff marks on the paint. The interior was nice though. He said that he couldn't drive it because he didn't have insurance on it, but he started it up and it seem to run ok. The guy was pretty cool, but I get the feeling his going to squirm quite a bit over the $13k 'only' selling price. I passed on it. Seeing it in person, $11k would have been a fair price IMHO.
