I don't mean to speak for cootees2, but having just bought a 15620 from someone else, I can tell you that this is a complete system from the flange connector just past the catalytic converter, to the tips of the tail pipes. 3 inch stainless steel all the way to the muffler, where it splits into a right and left tailpipe using 2.5 inch stainless steel piping. Then the tips (and muffler) are polished stainless steel, with the tips enlarging to 3.5 inches. Single tip on each side.

Here is a near correct picture of the unit. I say near correct because they have changed the design so that the over the axle piping and the passenger side exhaust are on the one side, while the driver side exhaust comes out the other.

Looks like a nice enough system. I'll be putting mine on over the weekend.

Lower,

The muffler in the picture is a straight-through design like the SLP 2OTL system, but you're saying that Magnaflow has changed to a crossflow design like Hooker or Flowmaster? My attraction to the Magnaflow system is precisely due to the muffler geometry. Yes, the passenger exit has a sharp 180 degree to make up the difference (in the pictured system), but I'd rather have the gases change direction in a nice mandrel bent pipe rather than in a turbulent muffler.

Thanks for the info though, wouldnt have known this until I opened the package!

I don't think Magnaflow "changed" anything, I think it is a case of a lot of stores using the "stock" photo Magnaflow provided.

I'm not overly worried about crossflow design - I don't think it's too much of an issue with the "straight through" design Magnaflow mufflers have.
