New LT1 Heads for sale
New LT1 Heads for sale
I have a bunch of brand new LT1 heads that I purchased from the original supplier after years sitting in heated storage. These heads are fully assembled with valves and springs. Other than a little oxidation from the humidity they are perfect. I threw a couple on ebay not long ago and they were snapped up fast so there appears to be a market. I have been approached by some of the major engine rebuilders about buying the entire lot. It is tempting but I would prefer to sell them directly to the end-user (it is more financially attractive to me and they can still be a heck of a deal for you).
So here is the deal: I am planning on offering them for $550 per set once I get my website up and running. To seed the venture I am going to sell the next 10 sets for $495 plus shipping.
The downside in all this is that I have absolutely no technical knowledge of these heads - I just lucked in to a deal and figured I could make some money. So I can't help you with any questions other than what I observe. In other words, I can look at and take pictures of the castings, take measurements if you tell me where and how but that's about it.
I do know enough about engine building to know that they are the real deal. If you are restoring your LT1 or about the build that monster engine, these are the ones for you.
I have pictures but I don’t see how to post them.
Email me at rdavisson@jlschroth.com if you are interested.
